The mission of Mommy's Imagination Station is to support and reunite families by providing comprehensive childcare, parenting education, and family support services. We create a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow. Our goal is to ensure parents have the resources to regain custody, enhance their parenting skills, and promote their children's safety and well-being.
Through our programs, we foster a community where every child and family can achieve their fullest potential. We are passionate about building liberated communities through arts, education, and social justice. By integrating creative expression, empowering education, and advocacy for a just society, we empower individuals to thrive in a vibrant and inclusive community.
Our Story
In February 2020, Tashanna Hall founded Mommy's Imagination Station with a vision to transform the landscape of early childhood education and family support. Fueled by her passion for creating nurturing environments where children can thrive, learn, and grow, Tashanna embarked on this journey to empower families and build stronger communities. What started as a dream quickly evolved into a vibrant child development center dedicated to comprehensive childcare, innovative parenting education, and robust family support services. With a focus on creative expression, empowering education, and social justice, Mommy's Imagination Station has become a beacon of hope and inspiration, fostering a space where every child and family can achieve their fullest potential. Our Mission
Mommy’s Imagination Station™, Child Developmenent Center champions the holistic development of every child, from early childhood through adolescence, by fostering a supportive and enriching environment that extends to their parents and the broader community. We are dedicated to nurturing the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social well-being of each individual, recognizing the interconnections of these dimensions in shaping well-rounded and resilient individuals.
Our diverse Programs and Activities include:
Early Childhood Education Daycare (2.5 -13 years old): We prioritize social and emotional development, advocate for elevated childcare quality, and champion diversity, inclusion, cultural responsiveness, and racial identity. Our program is designed to cultivate young minds through creative and engaging activities that lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
MISI Family Reunion Program: Advocating for family rights and child liberation, we assist CYF with emergency placements and childcare crises. We extend our support to families facing suspensions and expulsions, providing guidance on IEPs, 504 plans, due process complaints, informal dispute resolutions, mediation, IDEA information, FERPA information, and necessary modifications. Our goal is to empower families and ensure every child's right to a stable and nurturing environment.
Social Saturday (Juniors/Teen Game Nights): We create a secure and welcoming space for school-age children to engage in educational video games, board games, and card games. These evenings are designed to foster social connections, teamwork, and strategic thinking in a fun and relaxed setting.
Financial Literacy Lab (Sunday): Our workshops and classes for school-age children delve into the world of money and finance. Covering topics such as STEM, entrepreneurship, budgeting, savings, debt, credit, and college readiness, we equip children with essential financial skills to navigate their futures confidently.
Out of School Program: Serving as a supervised, secure space for school-age children during non-school hours, this program encompasses both an after-school initiative and a mentorship program for youth. We provide essential exploration opportunities that encourage intellectual curiosity and personal growth.
School Age/Out-Of-School Time (After School & Summer Camp Program): Focusing on building robust social and emotional skills, this program aims to increase graduation rates and the likelihood of college degree attainment and full-time employment by age 25. We offer diverse activities that inspire creativity, teamwork, and resilience.
Through Mommy’s Imagination Station, we aspire to ignite a community movement, fostering joyous and robust connections among children and families. Our highly trained instructors and volunteers prioritize customer service, security, and cleanliness, delivering captivating activities that spark imagination, promote teamwork, and cultivate curiosity in children.

Appointments
Mommy’s Imagination Station, is a distinguished Nonprofit 501C3 Organization committed to fostering the holistic development of children, spanning from early childhood through adolescence. Our unwavering mission is to cultivate a supportive and enriching environment that extends to parents and the broader community, nurturing each individual's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social well-being.
Through MIS, our overarching aim is to spearhead a community movement, nurturing happy and healthy bonds among children and families. Our adept instructors and volunteers, prioritizing customer service, security, and cleanliness, curate engaging activities that spark imagination, foster teamwork, and cultivate curiosity in children.
Moreover, our childcare services are available Monday to Friday from 6 am to 9 pm year-round. MIS community center operates as appointment base only for schedule programming less than 24 hours a day and fewer than 180 days in a year. Drop- in services with appointment withing 24 hours of needing care, if required for emergencies only. The CYF program is specifically tailored to provide a secure and play-based early childhood education environment for children, catering to parents and their caseworkers. Community Center/ Family Friendly Area Outside Of Daycare Space: Operating Hours:
24 hours non traditional/Drop-In/ Emergency case by case if needed. We partner with CYF -Child and Youth Services to keep children reunited with family.
